" IF YOU NEED ME, BUT DO NOT WANT ME, I WILL BE HERE. IF YOU WANT ME, BUT DO NOT NEED ME, THEN I WILL LEAVE."

These were Nanny Mcphee's words to the children in the movie Nanny Mcphee.
In this movie plot,
there were some children whose mum passed away when they were very young,
and their working dad had to hire some person to look after them whilst he carried on with his work.
The children who were so naughty drove away many nannies,
and their poor dad finally employed this woman who was the protagonist in the plot called Nanny Mcphee.
She was a not so pretty woman who had somehow grosteque features which whould frighten many people.
She dressed in long, flowing black robes and there was something strange about her.
Extraordinary vibes were given off her body.
She was no ordinary woman.
The children were not afraid of her at the first sight of her.
They plotted to drive her away and planned many horrid pranks to play on their new nanny.
Unfortunately, their plans were ruined as this new nanny was not any other nanny.
She had magic powers and seemed to know everything.
She could control things and this frightened the children very much.
The hated her but could not defy her,
in fear of she casting one of her infamous magic spells on one of them.
However, as time passes by,
the children gew to be very fond of the old nanny.
They softened up to her and she didn't seem that horrid to them anymore.
She helped them with alot of things and their bond together grew stronger with the passing of each day.
She turned the horrilbe brats into perfect angels.
She instilled in them many values and taught them many life lessons.
Then at last,
she left them,
saying that her duty was completed and she need not need to stay on to care for the children anymore.
They did not need her anymore.
But they wanted her to stay.
She left them, with only beautiful memories of her left in their young minds.

Okay. I have just briefly summarised the movie plot.
Of course the plot has more to offer than what I had typed,
But those parts above are the key points that I wanted to mention.
The quote "IF YOU WANT ME, BUT DO NOT NEED ME, I WILL LEAVE"
Is different from our situation as we now, both want & need her...
Remember the first time we had Miss Tan as our new teacher ?
She seemed eccentric and had extraordinary ways to discipline us whenever we got too rowdy.
We had to stand outside of the class and had to remain silent while she examined us before we could enter our classroom each time it was her period.
I remember hating every single moment of it and even thinking,
Gosh. ever since Miss Long left, each teacher that comes in were worser than the other.
And grimacing to the mere thought of Miss Tan.
She didn't want to tell us her name.
We addressed her as TEACHER whenever we greeted her.
And we'ld always try to pull some new pranks on her each time,
like dragging the syllables TEEAACHERRRR
and SHHIIIPPP =))
those were pretty amusing memories,
now as I think about it.
But as time passes by,
we grew to love her very much.
Although she seemed fierce and eccentric in the beginning,
we warmed up to her very quickly and soon we started to enjoy her lessons very much.
Each period of hers was a pleasure.
We'ld joke around,
and laugh about the crazy antics of Joseph, Jasper and Ivan had came out with.
The time we spent together was paradise.
It was indeed the happiest moment of our school life ever since Miss Long left us.

She told us that she would not be driven away by us,
just like the way we had driven away the two other teachers.
She assumed that we were a bunch of rowdy kids who drove away our two former teachers.
We protested that the teachers left us for various reasons,
and she believed us half-heartedly in the beginning.
She tols us that she would not be like the former two teachers,
and would never be droven away by us.

She was the teacher who counted every single word in the comprehension of our Common Test 3.
She was impressed by our class as she claimed that we were very honest to have actually written down the exact number of words down,
and not attempting to lie to her.
That was when we started bonding together.

Now, after six weeks,
she is leaving us.
She promised to teach in another school already.
I guess we cannot force her to stay.
She says she still love us very much,
and we are the best class that she had ever taught,
out of the three classes in zhss that she had taught,
1e3, 1e4 and 1e6.

We'd always remember her for her dislike for cheerings and clappings,
Her tender "I LOVE YOU GUYS VERY MUCH",
the way she stuffs the tissue paper on her neck o.O [ no offence !],
they way she always uses her hands to wipe away the sweat on her face,
and also the way she calls us affectionately her 'DARLINGS" and "BABIES" and "WATERBABIES".
SHE WILL BE REMEMBERED FONDLY, FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT.
HER PLACE IN OUR HEARTS WILL BE FOREVER THERE.
WE WILL NEVER EVER FORGET HER.
OUR DEAR MISS JUNE TAN,
THE TEACHER WHO HAD GIVEN US SO MUCH,
THE FOREVER LOVING AND DEVOTED TEACHER,
THE TEACHER WHO LOVES 1E3 LIKE HER OWN SONS AND DAUGHTERS,
THE ADMIRABLE ONE AND ONLY MISS JUNE TAN.

SHE WILL BE FOREVER LOVED IN 1E3.
FOREVER

much loves,
szeneng ((:
