szeneng - hello. i have somethings to add to my last post. okay. hmm i don't think only chin how, jasper and benjamin are sort of left out right? there are also some of us amongst the "outcasted" group.. i don't want to name names, but i feel that we should really in fact make an effort to befriend and understand them, like what chingmay had said in the last post. and recently i have been noticing that chin how has becoming abit more friendlier than in the past. he has since hang out with joey and sabrina (i think) sometimes and also with other boys in the other classes too. good for him. :D and jasper. nowadays he seem to be quite an introvert i guess. but please try and talk to him alright? and benjamin too. actually, i often see thien sean going recess alone, all by himself. i feel really sorry for him, but i cannot do anything much. he has to befriend his own friends. we cannot interfere in that, but i hope some of us can make an effort to try and talk to him okay? make him break oyt of his lonely shell and see the sunshine again =D i used to be quite an introvert myself too. i didn't like to hang out in big groups and always went by myself, not wanting to be noticed. i have changed a little now. i still stuck to myself at times but i hang out in groups too. that day, my mother tongue teacher commented that i should smile more, as she seldom see me smile. so from that day onwards, i told myself that i keep less to myself and smile more! hahas. that way, the world would seem much simpler and nice. =) i recall that dya, there was some sort of library prize thing, and yew ming represented our class and won (something like that) and when he went onstage to collect the prize, few people from our class clapped for him. kuan cheng (he sat beside me during morning assemlbly) remarked that where is our class spirit? i agree totally with him. we did not even know yew ming had participated in that contest. we were too much engrossed in our own affairs, rather than our class affairs. am i right? we did not take notice of him at all. why ? i believe that the 1e3 spirit is there. ever since mr lam started teaching us again, i have been seeing more smiles around the class! that is a good sign. and since the exams are coming, i feel we should strive harder and play less okay? study hard and play hard too. let's all mug for our exams, then take a well-deserved break during the june hols. oh yes, and please don't harbour any bad feelings to the "nanny mcphee" anymore. she is actually quite nice in fact. let's try and make her smile more too. =) and next friday is rebecca's last day in school. i have yet to find a nice present for her! =x when she leaves, i will miss her so much. she had given me a great impact in my life. she had taught me to be magnimous and accept one another's differences. she had taught me to be kind and thoughtful, and to pay attention to other's needs. i wish her well in china. =) and btw, if you all have any coloured paper at home, make some paper cranes for our sec 3 senior, jiecai, and pray that he will wake up soon alright? thanks (: although we may not know him that well, he is still our schoolmate and part of our zhonghua big family. we should care for one another okays. (: remember our lit play, and remember miss long. embrace each other's differences, accept all. let's bring a smile to other peoples' lives.
